Meet the Owners
Small Talk Therapy, Inc. was founded by Summer and Steve Baker, a husband-and-wife team of speech-language pathologists who wanted to build the kind of practice they always wished they could work for. After years in the school system, they saw how much more progress kids could make with individualized attention and family involvement. So, they created a place where therapists have the freedom, tools, and support to deliver that level of care.
As owners, Summer and Steve lead with empathy and experience. They know what it’s like to balance caseloads and still want to make a difference. They listen to their team, encourage collaboration across disciplines, and make work genuinely fun with team events, mentorship, and a culture that celebrates milestones big and small.
