About Small Talk Therapy
Helping Our Community Thrive Since 2015
Small Talk Therapy was founded in 2015 by Summer and Stephen Baker, two dedicated speech-language pathologists who wanted to create a practice where children, adults, and families could receive high-quality therapy in a supportive environment. What began as a single location has grown into two thriving clinics in Lancaster and Santa Clarita that serve families in the Antelope Valley and beyond.
We provide speech, occupational, feeding, early intervention, and audiology services under one roof so families can get the care they need without juggling multiple providers. Whether it’s helping a child say their first words, fitting a hearing aid so a grandparent can join in conversations again, or guiding a family through the IEP process, we are here to make a lasting difference.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower children and adults to reach their fullest potential by providing exceptional therapy services that nurture their mental, emotional, and developmental well-being.
We are committed to reaching as many children and adults as possible, regardless of background or circumstance, and delivering personalized, high-quality therapy that fosters growth, resilience, and lasting positive change.
Through compassionate care, evidence-based practices, and collaborative partnerships, we strive to create a brighter, healthier future for every child and adult we serve.
