Getting Started with Communication Station GA
If you’re concerned about your child’s development, our team is here to help guide you through the process. From your first phone call to your child’s evaluation and therapy plan, we work to ensure families feel informed, supported, and confident every step of the way.
How to Get Started
Step 1: Connect With Our Office
A referral from your child’s pediatrician is required before therapy services can begin. New families typically begin by speaking with our office manager. During this conversation, we take time to learn about your concerns and help you understand what to expect from the evaluation process.
Step 2: Complete Intake Forms
All new patient paperwork is completed online before your child’s first appointment. These forms help our therapists understand your child’s history, strengths, and areas of concern so they can prepare for the evaluation.
For your convenience, our intake forms are available here:
If your child has an IEP or IFSP, please email those to [email protected] before your appointment.
Step 3: Schedule Your Child’s Evaluation
Your child’s first visit will include a comprehensive evaluation with one of our therapists. Evaluations are scheduled in longer appointment blocks so we can gain a complete understanding of your child’s needs. Following the evaluation, we develop a detailed report and therapy plan that is reviewed with your child’s pediatrician.
Referrals & Insurance
We currently accept the following insurance plans:
- Medicaid plans
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Ambetter
- Tricare
Private pay options are also available!
