Our Philosophy
At Communication Station, therapy is never delivered in isolation. Our clinicians work together to support each child’s development from multiple angles. This multidisciplinary approach allows clinicians to share ideas, collaborate on treatment strategies, and provide thoughtful care that reflects the whole child.
We believe great therapy also involves families. We work closely with parents so they feel confident supporting their child’s development outside of therapy sessions. For our therapists, this collaborative model creates an environment where you can continue learning, growing, and refining your clinical skills alongside your team.

Meet the Founder
Communication Station GA was founded by Kelly Barrell, M.S., CCC-SLP, a pediatric speech-language pathologist with more than 20 years of experience helping children and families thrive.
As a working mother of five, Kelly understands the challenges clinicians face balancing career, family, and personal well-being. Her goal was to create a practice where therapists feel supported, encouraged, and able to build rewarding careers while still maintaining a healthy balance outside of work.
