Communication Station GA was founded on the belief that children make the greatest progress when therapists collaborate and families are actively involved in the therapy process. Since opening its doors, the clinic has helped children across North Georgia build the confidence they need to participate more fully in everyday life.

By bringing speech, feeding, occupational, and physical therapy services together under one roof, we can take a whole-child approach to care. Our therapists regularly work together, share ideas, and coordinate treatment so that each child receives thoughtful, well-rounded support.

At the heart of the practice is our owner, Kelly Barrell, M.S., CCC-SLP, a speech therapist with more than 20 years of experience helping children reach important developmental milestones. Her vision for Communication Station GA was to create a clinic where families feel supported, children feel encouraged, and therapists work together to make meaningful progress possible.

Our unique whole-child, family-based approach to therapy offers fun and functional opportunities to support each child’s learning and developmental growth through a safe, supportive, and professional care model.

Not only is Communication Station GA committed to providing intentional, experienced therapy for the children and families we serve, but we also strive to provide an encouraging and uplifting work environment for our staff. By cultivating a strong sense of community within our team, we create a supportive network for both professional and personal growth, with mentorship available in all areas.
